Mind reading trick

In my last post I showed you a mind reading card trick. This time, I'm showing another mind reading trick. The idea behind this trick is to predict the symbol you are thinking of. Follow the instructions, click the button and see if you can match the predication that will appear in the dark square below.

Instructions

1.  Select any two digit number.
2.  Add the two digits together, and subtract this from your starting number.*
3.  Using this final answer, look up the magic symbol on the table above.
4.  Concentrate very hard on this symbol.
5.  Click the Read my mind button to see how well you concentrated.

*e.g. If your number was 51, then 5+1 = 6. Subtract 6 from 51 to get your symbol.
